There May Be Thousand Other People, But There’s Only One You.

Maybe we fear too much that the ones we love will fall in love with someone else; someone smarter, someone more attractive, someone with more common interests and there’s always the chance that this might happen but during these times you have to remember one very important thing:

There may be plenty of other women and men out there, but there’s only one you.

17 December 2017

There’s only one you and that’s going to be enough for the right people. some people will leave you, some will stay n some will come back to you, but throughout this journey of life, all you have to do is believe that while there may be other temptations and other people capturing their attention, but there’s only one person who can capture their heart. There’s only one person who will be able to move them in a way no one else ever has. You have to trust yourself and have enough confidence in who you are and the way you do things.

Because at the end of the day, you can only control your emotions, your heart and the rest is something you can’t predict and something you can’t really do much about. But in order not to lose your mind when you feel like maybe the person you’re into is not completely invested or is still exploring their other options, you have to remember that there’s no other option like you.

No one talks the way like you do. No one listens to like the way you do. No one has your quirks, your characteristics, your sense of humour or your honesty, your strengths or your weaknesses. No one has YOUR STORY. No one can make them feel like the way you do.

But that doesn’t mean that you’re the right person for them instead, it just means that you’ve done your part by being yourself and loving them with all your heart. If you’re not what they’re looking for then that’s on them. It’s not about you anymore. It’s about what they’re looking for. What they’re seeking. It’s about the kind of love they’re looking for vs the kind of love you’re willing to give.

So whenever you feel scared to lose someone to someone else, I hope my words remind you to always remember the fact that there’s only one you. And I hope you realize then that just because someone didn’t choose you, doesn’t make you any less worthy than the chosen one. It just makes you a better fit for someone else. It makes you more convenient for someone who is looking for the kind of person you are and the things you are ready and capable to do.

17 December 2017And to find that person you have to believe that you are incredible, great and most importantly, enough. You have to believe that the right person may meet and get to know a bunch of other people more ‘intimidating’ but at the end of the day, they’ll choose you. They’ll pick you because they will eventually realize that you are their special someone, the one they have been looking for, the perfect one. They’ll choose you because there’s only one you and then, to them, you’ll be their world.
