Following are some of the  most expensive schools in India, where these millionaires’ children are frequently enrolled:

1. Birla Public School, Ajmer

Its fee structure revolves around 4.5 to 5.5 lacs. The Vidhya Niketan school was formed by the Birla Education Trust in 1944 under the direction of Dr Maria Montessori.

The school has 16 boarding hostels, an arch range, a horseback riding training field, soccer, hockey, basketball, handball, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, a boxing ring, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, and two large auditoriums.

2. Bishop Cotton School, Shimla

Approximately 4.8 lacs per year in fees. This is one of Asia’s oldest residential schools, having been established in 1959. The school’s campus is 35 acres in size and located in Shimla’s lovely hills. Curzon, Ibbetson, Lefroy, and Rivaz are the names of the four houses. There’s an eating area, a shooting range, and a computer centre.

3. Welham Boys School, Dehradun

Approximately 6 to 6.5 lacs in annual fees. Welham Boys’ School is an Indian boarding school in Dehradun. The institution is a CBSE-accredited residential school for boys. According to the education world rankings 2019, it is one of the top five boys’ boarding schools in the country.

It first opened its doors in 1937. The property is 30 acres in size. It has an audiovisual area, gallery, language, and art department, as well as a learning resource centre. The school contains 11 hostels as well as a playfield and tennis courts.

4. Stonehill International School, Bangalore

5. The Doon School, Dehradun

Approximately ten lakhs in annual fees. This all-boys residential school first opened its doors in 1935.

Mr Rajiv Gandhi, India’s previous prime minister, current Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Indian politician Jyotiraditya Scindia, Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh, and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik are among its illustrious alumni. This institution gives life-skills training to its students.
