“From Rs 3 Crore to Rs 600 Crore” was the title of the talk, and it was about a detergent. Dr Munirudheen A, an AMU MBA of the 2001 batch, came back to the Department of Business Administration to tell current students how the brand Dr. Wash grew.
He was joined by his batchmate Shagufta Ahmad, who spoke about building a career in shipping.
The Dr. Wash story
Dr Munirudheen put the brand’s growth down to consumer-focused marketing, community engagement and fresh business strategies. He walked students through how ideas from their syllabus, like Blue Ocean Strategy and Customer Relationship Management, play out in a real business, and urged them to look for entrepreneurial openings. He has also set up Wiseworld Management Consulting in the UAE.

- How to build skills and go about the job search
