Aligarh, December 1: Dr Mohd Kashif (Department of Ophthalmology) has been appointed as the Ad-hoc President of the Resident Doctors’ Association-RDA of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College-JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University, while Dr Saurabh Pathak (Department of Forensic Medicine) has been designated as the Ad-hoc Treasurer.

The appointments have been approved by Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor on the recommendation of RDA President forwarded by JNMC Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent.

A notice of the Office of Registrar stated: “These selections have been made on Ad-hoc basis due to public health concerns as it was not possible to hold RDA Elections this year owing to the raging Covid-19 pandemic. The step has been taken to conform to the Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission guidelines.”
